In Between

He laughed a laugh and smoked a smoke
And thought a thought unprovoked
And pissed a piss and wondered if
He fought a lot and thought little
Or thought a lot and fought little
Or himself did he why belittle

Britte Battle
Battle Brittle

He saw the thoughts he once pronounced
Fixed syllables cunted counted
Word by words uttering out
Detaching themselves from his mouth

Like baby serpents they show
(On Nat Geo)
Who hatched their eggs
And crawled the land
To swim the sea
Greeted by the eagle claws
In Between
For an air-borne feast
Fantasy

He laughed a laugh and smoked a smoke
And thought a thought unprovoked.
